Since returning to school in January we have been getting our mornings off to a great start with pupils enjoying a range of puzzles, board games and drawing tasks as they settle into the school day. These calm, engaging activities provide a positive and focused beginning to the morning routine.
The activities are developing important skills such as problem-solving, logical thinking, patience, and cooperation. Board games encourage turn-taking, communication, and teamwork, while puzzles help strengthen concentration and perseverance.
They also create a relaxed and welcoming classroom environment, giving everyone the opportunity to connect with their classmates, build friendships, and ease into learning.
