Junior room pupils have been busy exploring the exciting topic of the Winter Olympics as part of our learning this term. Students have been discovering the history of the Olympic Games and learning about the wide range of winter sports that bring athletes together from around the world.
We have learned about different Winter Olympic sports and the skills athletes need to succeed. We have explored host countries and discussed how the Games promote global unity and sportsmanship. Students have also investigated winter weather, including ice and snow, and the restrictions on host countries.
Pupils have shown great enthusiasm and engagement as they compiled factfiles and used clay to make a bobsleigh model.
